Cranberry Chutney

1 bag cranberries

1 bottle Horseshoe Bend Cardinal dessert wine

3/4 to 1 cup brown sugar

Combine cranberries, wine and 3/4 cup brown sugar in medium saucepan.  Bring to boil then simmer until cranberries fall apart and are syrupy.

1/2 to 3/4 cup thinly sliced then quartered onion.
3/4 cup walnuts
1/2 stick butter

Saute above in medium frying pan til onions are soft.  Add to the cranberry mixture and chill.  This is best fixed one to two days in advance to let the flavors blend.
