Hi all, we here at Horseshoe Bend would like to thank everyone that came out for
“A glass of wine, a chocolate or two, and you”
Valentine’s Day celebration. It was a big hit and therefore is on the calendar for next year!
St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and the lamb stew will be ready. It will be available on Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17. The lamb stew features Kentucky lamb!
April 1 is April Fools’ Day. The Jester at Horseshoe Bend plans to begin celebrating his namesake day along with our guests March 31 during the McConnell Springs Barrel Tasting, and continuing on to April 1 and then to April 6. Expect specialized desserts like Strawberry Fool complimenting the Jester and all he does for Horseshoe Bend.
We all know Spring is approaching even though it seems like Old Man Winter will just not
let go. We anticipate a Redbud Festival in April and will post as soon as we see the color begin in our Redbud Forest. Looking forward to the 5th Annual Wildflower Walk and as soon as the path is spruced up and the naturalist contacted a date will be announced. Mark your calendars for May 17 when Sue Massek returns to begin our Burgers and Banjos series.
Remember, we are now open Sundays from 1 to 5pm.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
